RAS Equestrian Rulebook Remit

As you will be aware the equestrian rulebook has been under review - one to two years ago the forbidden substance and measuring excerpts were taken care of and now the review has been finished with the remaining excerpts. This review has only been concentrating on the rules, not the guidelines. It has gone through a stringent process to ensure there is an awareness of not only the review but also to ensure there was a feedback process in place for interested parties to make comment. The reviewing panel has gone through all of the feedback and updated where necessary. They are confidant that the document in front of you will find favour with the majority of people based on the feedback they received.

Kevin Cholmondeley-Smith will be attending all of the District AGM's and will speak to the proposed changes and be available for questions - for further information on the District AGMs - see link http://www.ras.org.nz/about-ras/districts/ If you are unable to make one of the District AGMs but have a question, please don't hesitate to contact Kevin - his details are included in the cover sheet of the remit submission.

Voting papers to place your vote by postal vote will be forwarded to your prior to the 18 May. Voting papers are to be posted back to RAS Head Office and must be received by the 18 June.
